Bedtime
We have been experimenting with a new (earlier) bedtime and it has been mostly good. Henry goes to bed after his bath and we can have a bit of quiet time without him, this is leading towards being able to have babysitters! Unfortunately the major drawback is he is waking up in the middle of the night, oh well, can't win them all!

Bring on summer

Daddy and I went to Starbucks on Sunday morning in hats, mittens and boots! I want summer back and from what they are telling me, I'll get summer in Australia in about 3 weeks:)
In another milestone, I rolled from my front to my back on Sunday night - I couldn't see the HDTV screen well enough and mum kept putting me on my front so I had to roll twice! Watch out walking/crawling is next!
And I've almost got the jolly jumper under control, give me another week and I think I can master it.
There probably won't be any new photos this week since I woke up with a huge fingernail gash on my cheek. The nails are now cut but the guilty scar still shows:)

SMALL YMCA Family Run in the Park

Today seemed pretty cold, but it didn't stop the Hood-Deshons from going to Scarborough and running in the park. Of course we forgot the camera so here is a shot of mummy with her medal in the driveway once home.
Before the 5km race (which I'm pretty sure wasn't 5km) mummy read her Running Room magazine and saw Aunt Malindi selling some cold flu fx stuff - very cool :) It was like she was cheering us on from Calgary!
Mummy chased another Chariot Cheetah stroller for the whole race but the GRANDAD beat her pretty easily. I fell asleep just after half way and so I'm not sure where she lost him. I did wake up in time for her to get a second placed woman's medal and a $20 running room gift certficate (which was the cost of entry). Small races are geat for prizes. Daddy ran too and came 5th - we aren't posting our times on purpose :)
I wonder if mummy will run the chili half marathon without me this March?

14 lbs, 3.5 oz

This is me looking really sleepy one night this week. It is four weeks today until I go to Australia to meet all the crazy Aussies. While it should be lots of fun, I've heard there is a 14 hour time change, I wonder how that will work out!?
I had two more shots today and instead of crying afterwards I cried for the 10 minutes beforehand! Eeeek.
